Fabulous experience! I am so thrilled to be able to walk again. I was admitted here from HUP and not able to walk with severe leg weakness. Therapy has encouraged me daily to leave bed and come down to the gym. The staff is very attentive and cares a lot about their patients. I was a patient at University City earlier this year and had a very good experience. So, when I needed therapy after my recent foot surgery at Penn Presbyterian Hospital, I was happy to return to University City. I was unable to walk when I arrived. The therapy team there was fantastic and very motivating! They encouraged me to work with them everyday until eventually I was standing and then walking on my own again. University City has a quality nursing staff that is very attentive. The entire staff is great and caring. I give them 5 stars and would recommend University City to anyone who needs therapy!

I came to University City from Presbyterian Hospital after a long hospital stay and I was not able to stand or walk. I also had problems with numbness and tingling in my feet. The rehab department worked on strengthening my leg muscles and eventually I was able to walk using a walker. My stay at University City was a life-changing experience. The whole staff was helpful and very nice. I am now able to return to my home!

I arrived at University City Rehab from Pennsylvania Hospital. I really enjoyed the view from my window and was able to bird watch which is something I like to do. The rehab department worked me hard every day. They were kind and patient. They made sure that I was ready and safe to return to my apartment at the Atria Independent Living. The staff was helpful and the food was good.
